Greater Noida: Three persons, including a woman, have been arrested by Gautam Buddh Nagar police for allegedly blackmailing a 17-year-old girl after shooting her obscene video at a hotel in knowledge park area of Greater Noida. The victim in her complaint told police that Arjun and his wife Hina, who lives in her neighbourhood, allegedly lured her to get into relationship with one Farman who raped her at a hotel and shot an obscene video. "Farman called me to a room in a hotel nearly two months ago and raped me. He shot a video of the act and started blackmailing me and demanded Rs 6 lakh to get the video deleted," read the complaint. The victim alleged that Arjun and Hina along with Farman also threaten her to make the video viral on social media if she do not pay them Rs 6 lakh. She had reported the matter to police earlier but the action came after she reported the matter to Inspector General of UP Police which ordered an FIR into the matter. Kumar Ran Vijay Singh, Superintendent of Police (rural), Gautam Buddh Nagar confirmed that the allegations made by the victim were true. "Preliminary investigations showed that the trio of accused were blackmailing victim on pretext of an obscene video of her. We have arrested all the three accused and have registered a case into the matter on the basis of complaint. The video and photographs have been confiscated by police which are being investigated. All the accused will be produced before the court and will be sent to jail," said Singh.
