2 days after blaze residents returning to normal lives slowly

New Delhi: Two days after the blaze which killed 43 people inside the factory, people are returning to their normal lives slowly. On Tuesday, the shops were open, goods were carried from one place to another in Anaj Mandi area. "After the incident, factories have stopped working but the other shops are opened," said Rajesh, a resident of Anaj Mandi area. Police deployment was seen outside the Anaj Mandi area. Meanwhile, ambulances carrying the bodies of 35 of 38 Bihar residents who died in the Anaj Mandi fire have left for their home state.

New Delhi: Two days after the blaze which killed 43 people inside the factory, people are returning to their normal lives slowly. On Tuesday, the shops were open, goods were carried from one place to another in Anaj Mandi area. Nisha, a resident of the area stated that after the incident, she did not hear the sound of any factory machines. Her husband, Rajesh, said that whatever happened was wrong. There was a chaotic situation in the area on Sunday but now, the situation has improved a bit. "After the incident, factories have stopped working but the other shops are opened," said Rajesh, a resident of Anaj Mandi area. Leelawati (resident), who was sitting with her friend in front of a house, said, "They have heard people closing factories and leaving the area. I have seen such horrific incident for the first time in my life." The police on Tuesday only barricaded the area which was close to the building otherwise, they had removed other barricades. Police deployment was seen outside the Anaj Mandi area. Meanwhile, people from different parts of the city were coming to the spot to have a glimpse of the building where 43 people killed. Department Of Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has set a help desk in the area. One Narendra who claimed to be Deputy Post Warder in DDMA told this newspaper that till now they have helped 17 to 18 people who reached the spot in search of the labourers who were working in the building. "We are informing them about the hospital where their relatives are being treated or their bodies have been sent," said Kumar. Meanwhile, ambulances carrying the bodies of 35 of 38 Bihar residents who died in the Anaj Mandi fire have left for their home state.
