Delhi Elections 2020: EC organises awareness campaign to motivate voters

As Delhi Assembly elections are nearing, the Election commission (EC) taking every possible measure to ensure a huge voter turnout.
On Monday, the EC organised a special awareness campaign at the Badali Constituency to encourage people to come out large numbers and cast their votes during the upcoming assembly polls.
The statement further said that a special drive of awareness campaign has been started since January 11.
During Lok Sabha Election 2019, a total of 90,228 voters out of 2, 13, 449 registered voters from Badali Assembly Constituency did not cast their vote," it said.
As a large number of voters didn't participate in the Lok Sabha Elections 2019, this awareness campaign is designed to motivate such voters so that they are encouraged to exercise their right to vote.
