The district administration has also used the resource of online medium in replying to all the queries related to Covid-19. Officials from the Gurugram district administration have stated that FIR's will be registered against any landlords or house owners who ask medical staff, people under precautionary home quarantine to vacate their homes.

GURUGRAM: At a time when unexpected sources are proving to be carriers for deadly novel Coronavirus, the residents in Gurugram have now started using technology to the virus. At SARE Homes in New Gurugram, the resident welfare association (RWA) have installed a software based checkup to detect whether the visitor entering their society have the symptoms of COVID-19. According to the residents, this software system assesses basic vital points like temperature, cold, cough and anxiety and categorises into sections of normal, need extra care and need to consult the doctor on the computer screen. Based on these parameters, the visitors are allowed entry. "We will take all the necessary steps to fight COVID-19. This is the first ever kind of technology that has been placed in such societies," said Praveen Malik. Some of the residents of some of the societies have also begun preparations for carrying out activities like sweeping and washing clothes. Not only newer technologies but the tried and tested technology is also proving to be handy in the current situation. It is important to note that the Gurugram Police has allowed online as well as some offline delivery agents to operate in the city. Most of the offline delivery agents have now created WhatsAPP groups for several societies and neighbourhoods. It is on these groups that the delivery agents are accepting the orders following which they are delivering the inventories at homes. The Gurugram district administration is relying on strong communication and better information for tackling the deadly virus. On this account, the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) through its app is providing information of all the isolated centres and quarantine centres that are operational in the city. The district administration has also used the resource of online medium in replying to all the queries related to Covid-19. The Gurugram Police in the coming days is also planning to use the drones to find out the areas where people are not following social distancing norms. "We are lucky that in Gurugram the understanding of technology among the residents is high. Technology should be used for the betterment of all the citizens at large than to benefit some," said Raghav Rai, a city resident. Meanwhile, Friday again proved to be a good day for Gurugram authorities as there was no new case of COVID-19 that was reported. With this no fresh case has come from Gurugram in last 72 hours. Officials from the Gurugram district administration have stated that FIRs will be registered against any landlords or house owners who ask medical staff, people under precautionary home quarantine to vacate their homes.
