This Delhi police station uses 'neem water' spray to sanitise people

Delhi's Ranjeet Nagar Police station has come up with a unique way to sanitize those who visit it, using the miracles of Ayurveda to sanitised people. Whenever someone visits the police station from outside, the person is sanitized, followed by a temperature check. After that, he or she is sprayed with Neem water which has been specially created. According to Station house officer (SHO) of Ranjeet Nagar Police Station, the water is created by boiling neem leaves in it after which alum and camphor are added to it. The resulting water keeps away are the germs away from the body.

Although people are staying indoors during the lockdown, it has become more challenging for police personnel as they have to keep the law and order maintained as well as take care of themselves so that they don't get infected by coronavirus. The resulting water keeps away are the germs away from the body. The spray is mandatorily done on anyone who is arriving from outside. The step was taken to make sure that the police personnel remain healthy. In the current situation, people are inside their homes but the cops are meeting people anyway. Although they are taking proper care of themselves, at times they come in contact with people. It's not always possible for them to follow social distancing. Notably, neem is known for it anti-bacterial properties. It is a well known medicinal plant and is widely used in home remedies as well as medicines.
