Farmers’ protest: Taxi Unions to go on an indefinite strike in Delhi-NCR if farmers’ demands not met

New Delhi: Taxi Unions will go on an indefinite strike in Delhi-NCR if farmers’ demands are not met. The body has given the Centre two-days to fulfil the demands of protesting farmers. Farmers have been protesting at various places in Delhi and Haryana and have rejected the central government`s offer to hold talks on December 3 saying that imposing conditions for starting a dialogue is an insult to them. Around 32 farmer bodies, mostly from Punjab, and a few farmers from Gujarat and Maharashtra as well managed to reach Delhi on Friday and assembled at the border areas to continue their protest.

The farmers are protesting against The Farmers` Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, The Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020, and The Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.

Dadri MLA resigns from Haryana Pashudhan Board: I`ve resigned as Haryana Pashudhan Board Chairman in support of ongoing farmers movement. Tomorrow morning at 10 am, all members of Sangwan Khap will proceed to Delhi & we will support protesting farmers till the very end: Sombir Sangwan, Sangwan Khap Pradhan & Dadri MLA. Tikri border is closed for any Traffic Movement: Tikri border is closed for any Traffic Movement. Badusarai and Jhatikara Borders are open only for two-wheeler traffic. Open Borders to Haryana are following Borders Jharoda,Dhansa, Daurala, Kapashera, Rajokri NH 8, Bijwasan/Bajghera, Palam vihar and Dundahera.
