Earthquake tremors have increased in Delhi these days. Delhi was also jolted by an earthquake on 31 May, which stuck the city at 9:54 pm. The epicentre of the earthquake was reported as the Rohini area of ​​North West Delhi.

Geologists have placed the city in the sensitive seismic zone-4 to earthquakes. Being in Delhi`s Danger Zone-4 means that in future there may be an earthquake of 8 magnitudes on the Richter scale, some areas of North Delhi and South-West Delhi along with the area located near the Yamuna river in the city have been kept in the most vulnerable to an earthquake.
