Earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi`s Punjabi Bagh at 12.02 pm. According to the National Center for Seismology, its intensity has been measured at 2.1 on the Richter scale.

However, there is no report of any loss of life or property due to this. Meanwhile, there was an atmosphere of chaos in the entire area for some time. People rushed out of the houses on the streets out of fear.
Earthquake tremors have increased in Delhi these days. Delhi was also jolted by an earthquake on 31 May, which stuck the city at 9:54 pm. The epicentre of the earthquake was reported as the Rohini area of â€‹â€‹North West Delhi.

Geologists have placed the city in the sensitive seismic zone-4 to earthquakes. Being in Delhi`s Danger Zone-4 means that in future there may be an earthquake of 8 magnitudes on the Richter scale, some areas of North Delhi and South-West Delhi along with the area located near the Yamuna river in the city have been kept in the most vulnerable to an earthquake.
