New Delhi, Aug 9 (PTI) A man was stabbed to death following an altercation with a group of people in east Delhi"s Mayur Vihar, police said on Tuesday.The victim was identified as Tushar, a resident of Trilokpuri. Three minors have been apprehended in connection with the incident, they said.Police said they received information about the incident on Monday. After they reached the spot, they found that the victim had been taken to LBS Hospital, where he was declared brought dead by doctors.Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Priyanka Kashyap said, "During the investigation, on the basis of examination of eyewitnesses and analysis of CCTV footage, five people, all minors, were identified and three of them were apprehended." Initial investigation revealed that Tushar knew the accused and was stabbed following an altercation between the two sides, she said."We have registered a case under sections 302 (murder) and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code and an investigation has been taken up," the DCP said.It was found that the father of one of the accused was murdered last year. Tushar used to threaten the accused that he would meet his father"s fate. He had even threatened to kill the mother of the accused, the police said.The body will be handed over to Tushar"s family after a post-mortem examination, they said. PTI AMP AMP DIV DIV
