Delhi celebrates world environment day

The existing depressions have been restored and transformed into water bodies/wetlands, with four water bodies covering an area of about 7.40 hectares that can hold approximately 185 million liters of floodwaters. Additionally, approximately 12,600 trees of floodplain-specific species and around 55 lakh riverine grasses are being planted.
