Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal participated in the Dussehra celebrations at the historic Red Fort on Tuesday and emphasized that his government is dedicated to serving the people of the national capital, drawing inspiration from the principles of Lord Ram. Speaking at the Dussehra event organized by the Luv Kush Ramleela Committee on the grounds of the Red Fort, Kejriwal mentioned that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government`s mission is to ensure that every citizen in Delhi receives quality education, healthcare, and amenities like free electricity.
Kejriwal expressed, "Lord Ram is our role model. His life and the concept of Ram Rajya offer valuable lessons. Our endeavor is to ensure that no one goes to bed hungry, that everyone has access to quality education, healthcare services, and electricity in Delhi."
On this auspicious occasion, Kejriwal extended warm wishes to the people and prayed for their well-being and happiness. He added, "Taking inspiration from Lord Rama and as your devoted servant, I have been diligently working to address your issues. If there is anything that remains to be done, I ask for your forgiveness."
During the event, the organizers honored the chief minister with a traditional mace. Kejriwal actively participated in the customary practice of setting the effigies of Ravana, Meghnad, and Kumbhakaran ablaze, using a ceremonial bow and arrow.
