n Delhi  Chief Minister and AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal slammed the BJP over the Supreme Court overturning the outcome of the Chandigarh mayoral poll. Speaking in the Delhi Assembly on Wednesday, Kejriwal quoted a verse from the Bhagavad Gita Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya Glanirbhavati Bharat, Abhyutthanamdharmasya tadatmanam srijamyham, saying,The meaning of this verse is that Lord Shri Krishna is not just saying it to Arjun, he is trying to tell the entire creation through Arjun that whenever righteousness will be crushed on earth and whenever unrighteousness will become too much, then I will be born, I will incarnate. The God decided to intervene and put an end to the prevailing "adharm (unrighteousness)" of the BJP He also thanked the Supreme Court and the chief justice of India for the courts verdict on the Chandigarh mayoral poll, saying it saved the countrys democracy, he said. "It seemed as though god were speaking through the CJI," Kejriwal said, hailing the Supreme Court that declared defeated AAP-Congress alliance candidate Kuldeep Kumar as the new mayor of the Union Territory by setting aside the January 30 poll result. Slamming the BJP, Kejriwal alleged that the saffron party would do anything to win elections and accused it of indulging in poaching MLAs and toppling governments openly. He said all the devotees of Lord Ram, Krishna, Shiv-Parvati are with the country and finally, the "adharm" of the BJP will come to an end and "dharm (righteousness)" will prevail. Kejriwal also hit out at the BJP over the ongoing farmers protest and said it is not allowing the agitating farmers to reach Delhi. "Why dont they allow the farmers to come to Delhi? They do not pay the price for their crops and also do not listen to them," he said. Kejriwal said today, there has been so much unrighteousness all around, so much wrongdoing has become prevalent that MLAs are being bought openly. Our MLAs were offered Rs 25-25 crores. Governments are being openly toppled by buying off MLAs. In Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, North East and Uttarakhand, MLAs were bought openly. MLAs are being bought with black money worth crores of rupees; governments are being openly toppled. People are losing faith in religion, there is so much unrighteousness everywhere, he said. Criticising the Centre for its highhandedness in not allowing the farmers to march to Delhi, Kejriwal said, Today our farmers want to come to Delhi but they are being stopped. Delhi is the capital of the country, they (farmers) do not have any weapons with them, let them come to Delhi. We had protested in Ramlila Maidan, give them Ramlila Maidan and the poor farmers will sit there. Everyone has the right to raise their voice under Article 19 of the Constitution. But farmers are not allowed to come and protest. They are demanding fair price for their crops. They are saying that they should get the full benefit of the crops they produce. You will not pay the price of crops, will not even allow them to protest, he said.
