DDA has developed two golf courses in Delhi — the Qutab Golf Course located in Mehrauli's Lado Sarai and the Bhalaswa Golf Course in the Bhalaswa Lake area. Designed and developed by the authority, the Qutab Golf Course was thrown open with 9 holes in January, 2000. In May, 2002, this golf course was turned into an 18-hole course. The Bhalaswa Lake Public Golf Course was opened in January, 2003 with 3 holes and was also eventually developed into an 18-hole course. The ministry has also planned open-air gyms in 100 parks across the city.

The authority has now been asked to reduce their fee from Rs 600 to Rs 200 to make the facility more affordable. In a bid to promote sports in the national Capital, the Ministry for Youth Affairs and Sports has planned to reduce the fees for children at two Delhi Development Authority (DDA) golf courses from Rs 600 to Rs 200. Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Vijay Goel, called a meeting with senior DDA officials on Monday regarding the development of sports activities and urged them to devote more space to play fields in schools. He said senior secondary schools must be given at least four acres of land to make better fields for students to play in, which will develop sports culture. "We had a very fruitful discussion with the DDA and we will create 100 gyms across parks owned by the authority, which will be beneficial for the public," Goel said. The minister also said the DDA will open sports complexes for children as there was a lack of space dedicated to sports and other such activities. "A joint committee of DDA and Sports Ministry will examine vacant plots across Delhi and work towards developing them into sports fields or multipurpose grounds for fuller utilisation. This will be a pilot project, which will set an example for other states as well," he said DDA Vice-Chairman Uday Pratap Singh said 773 parks belonging to the authority have been given to the municipal corporation.
