Seven-year-old escapes molester

A seven-year-old managed to escape her molester, thanks to her presence of mind, and reported the incident to her parents on Saturday. A first information report was registered later against the accused with the intervention of the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW). She narrated the incident to her parents as soon as she reached home and they called up the DCW helpline. A team from the DCW got the accused arrested after filing an FIR under Indian Penal Code section 354 and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
