His protective armour is safe against all odds like military rifle shots, missile attacks, hand grenades, bombs and other explosives. Apart from this, he is also given a staff of 200 men for the maintenance of his huge palace.

A luxurious life post retirement

If it crossed your mind that, that after 5 years, he will have to leave all this and lead the simple life again, maybe it is not that simple.  The president gets a pension of Rs. 75,000 a month and is given a well-furnished bungalow, which is rent free with two landlines and a mobile phone with unlimited access to internet. Also, he is eligible to travel free by air and train.
