Twitter abuzz with tributes to Marshal Arjan Singh, nation mourns

Tributes and Condolence messages are pouring in from all over, recalling the former marshal of the Indian Air Force Arjan Singh who breathed his last on Saturday late evening at Army Research and Referal hospital in New Delhi where he was admitted in the morning. He was 98 years old and only 5 star ranked officer of the IAF. Singh had an illustrious career and made the Indian Air Force proud.

Tributes and Condolence messages are pouring in from all over, recalling the former marshal of the Indian Air Force Arjan Singh who breathed his last on Saturday late evening at Army Research and Referal hospital in New Delhi where he was admitted in the morning. He was 98 years old and only 5 star ranked officer of the IAF. Singh had an illustrious career and made the Indian Air Force proud. He has been the only Chief of the Air Staff to have headed the Air Force for five years as opposed to the regular tenure of two and a half to three years. Prime Minister, President, Home Minister, External Affairs Minister among other took to twitter to express their tributes to the departed soul. Former President Pranab Mukherjee and Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi also paid their respects. His mortal remains will be kept at his residence where people can pay their respects.
