37th India International Trade Fair begins

The 37th India International Trade Fair (IITF) has kicked off with President Ram Nath Kovind inaugurating the fair. The annual event is organised by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), from November 14-27 at Pragati Maidan.

The 37th India International Trade Fair (IITF) has kicked off with President Ram Nath Kovind inaugurating the fair. The annual event is organised by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), from November 14-27 at Pragati Maidan.

This year the partner country for the fair in 2017 is Vietnam, and the focus country is Kyrgyzstan. One of the major changes this year is the state have been provided hangers to sell their products unlike pavilions as per tradition in wake of the ongoing construction work at Pragati Maidan.

The IITF last year was held in an area of over 100,000 square meters with around 7,000 exhibitors.
