According to a complaint filed by the victim’s brother Abhimanyu, Sagar and he were at a tent house near their residence around 11.30 on Monday night when they got a call from home and left. Brother’s version “On the way home, we ran into the brothers, who took Sagar nearly 200 metres away on the pretext of some work. They had an argument, which turned ugly. Mr. Manoj suddenly grabbed Sagar’s hands, while Mr. Verma shot him. They fled the spot immediately,” said Mr. Abhimanyu. Sagar was taken to nearby hospital, where he succumbed to injuries during treatment . “Mr. Verma was produced before a court and was sent to jail. Mr. Manoj was arrested on Tuesday and was sent to jail that day itself,” said a senior police officer.
