Delhi Metro’s fourth foray in Haryana

NEW DELHI: Delhi Metro is all set to reach Haryana’s Ballabhgarh by the end of September or early October. “Ballabhgarh will become the fourth city in Haryana to get metro connectivity after Gurgaon, Faridabad and Bahadurgarh . Delhi Metro Rail Corporation ( DMRC ) on Friday started trial runs on the 3.2km-long section of Violet Line from Escorts Mujesar to Ballabhgarh.This extension of Violet Line consists of two stations — NCB Colony and Ballabhgarh. After the opening of this section, the total length of metro network in Haryana will become 29 kilometres. The spokesperson said that the section is slated for opening in September or October, 2018, subject to the approval by the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety.At present, 25.8km of metro lines are operational across Haryana.
