FARIDABAD: A fake godman (baba) trapped a businessman and duped him of Rs 12 lakh by telling him that if he applied deer oil all over his his body, he will be showered with Rs 2.5 crore.According to Faridabad police, the victim got a call last week and the caller told him about a black-magic expert from Alwar in Rajasthan and gave him his number.Later, the 'godman' called the businessman and asked him to visit Alwar to meet him. When he reached there, he saw the baba applying some oil all over his own body in a closed room, then he covered himself with a black cloth. He told that after sometime the baba uncovered himself and there were currency notes everywhere.Seeing this, the businessman started dreaming of becoming a millionaire.The godman told him that the oil he applied on himself was deer oil, which cost him Rs 12 lakh and he could make Rs 2.40 crore with its help.The businessman got lured and purchased the oil and a black cloth by paying Rs 12 lakh to the baba.After returning to Faridabad, he followed the baba's advice and applied the oil all over his body and covered himself with the black cloth. But, later, when he uncovered himself, he could not find any money near him. He kept waiting for the 'miracle' to happen while the godman was absconding.
