Air Quality "Very Poor" in Faridabad, Worst In Haryana

The Industrial city is recording the poorest air quality in the state for the past three days.

Industrial city Faridabad`s air quality constantly remained in the `very poor` category for the past few days.
On Friday morning, (PM)-2.5 climbed up to 365, six times higher than the acceptable limits.

The average 24-hour AQI at 4 Pm on Saturday was 296 in Faridabad, while on Sunday, the average was 287 in the city.

PM 2.5 and PM 10 also remained high in the air of other NCR cities of Noida, Greater Noida, Gurgaon, and Ghaziabad.

This surge in the pollution levels of the city has been recorded almost a month later, on Feb 21 last month, the PM 2.5 had touched the level of 311.
