HSIIDC to build fire stations to boost security

Four fire stations at Manesar, Bawal, Rohtak and Faridabad would have provisions of four bays with office rooms, residential facilities, pumps, underground reservoirs and diesel generator sets. He said the corporation would also construct 10 fire stations. FARIDABAD: Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) will construct police and fire stations at its various industrial estates to boost security.Stating in Chandigarh on Thursday, HSIIDC Managing Director Raja Sekhar Vundru said it would construct four new police stations at IMT Rohtak, Faridabad, Manesar and Barhi and two police posts in Bahadurgarh and Barwala.These would cost Rs 18.34 crore, he said. Another six fire stations would be constructed in Phase- II at Rai, Barhi, Manakpur, Saha, Bahadurgarh and Barwala.He said the corporation has already requested the Urban Local Bodies Department to arrange fire tenders along with other equipment and staff for these fire stations in order to make them operational.
