GURUGRAM: A 28-year-old resident of Gocchi village, Faridabad, was arrested on Monday from Rajiv Nagar colony for raping a 35-year-old woman of the same village, allegedly after performing black magic on her. The woman claimed that the accused is a Tantrik and has molested her earlier too.The woman said she got in touch with the accused six months ago, seeking resolution to a problem through black magic."On Sunday, he called me to his place and made me drink something. I fell unconscious, and when I came back to my senses, I found out that he had exploited me. When I raised the alarm he threatened to kill me and my two children. He escaped after that," the woman said.The woman was brought to civil hospital for medical examination and an FIR was registered against the accused, identified as Rahul, under sections 376 (rape), 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC at Sector 14 police station."The accused confessed to his crime. We produced him in a city court on Monday and sent him to judicial custody," said inspector Bhartendra, SHO, Sector 14 police station.
