GHAZIABAD: The body of a 30-year-old man was found on the railway tracks in Kavi Nagar on Thursday morning. The deceased has been identified as Lokesh, a tattoo artist and resident of Sanjay Nagar Lokesh’s brother Jitender alleged he was murdered by a builder from whom they had recently bought a house for Rs 14 lakh. They alleged that the builder had been demanding an additional Rs 4 lakh for the house, which they had refused.“The builder had been pestering us to pay up the additional amount. On Wednesday, three-four persons sent by the builder attacked Lokesh. They had left the place threatening him with dire consequences,” Jitender said.Police, however, denied having received any such complaint. SHO (Kavi Nagar) Rojant Tyagi said the victim’s father had submitted an application saying Lokesh’s body had been found on the railway tracks and an inquiry be conducted into the circumstances that led to his death.Police said Lokesh was a drug addict and had had a tiff with his wife a few days ago. Following the quarrel, the woman had gone back to her parents’ house. The body was found under the ALT flyover in Kavi Nagar around 7am.
