8-year-old boy sees uncle sodomising minor, killed

Nitesh’s uncle, Umesh, had told TOI he had returned home with a balloon from Pappu’s house.Police said the eight-year-old boy had found him sodomising another minor boy. “On the afternoon of October 26, when Nitesh walked into the house of Pappu, he saw the latter forcibly sodomising another minor boy living in the locality. His parents had told police that he went missing from his home in Sriram Enclave shortly after visiting Pappu who lived nearby. GHAZIABAD: A 22-year-old youth was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly killing his cousin’s minor son on October 26 and later disposing of the body near a drain. Pappu was afraid that Nitesh would disclose about the incident to other family members.

GHAZIABAD: A 22-year-old youth was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly killing his cousin’s minor son on October 26 and later disposing of the body near a drain. The accused has been identified as Pappu , a Class VI drop out, who works as a mason.Nitesh, a Class II student of a private school in Kavi Nagar , had gone missing on Friday afternoon. His parents had told police that he went missing from his home in Sriram Enclave shortly after visiting Pappu who lived nearby. Nitesh’s uncle, Umesh, had told TOI he had returned home with a balloon from Pappu’s house.Police said the eight-year-old boy had found him sodomising another minor boy. “On the afternoon of October 26, when Nitesh walked into the house of Pappu, he saw the latter forcibly sodomising another minor boy living in the locality. Pappu tried to indulge in unnatural sex with Nitesh as well but he ran away. Pappu was afraid that Nitesh would disclose about the incident to other family members. He panicked and decided to kill Nitesh. During questioning, Pappu confessed to have lured away Nitesh from his house and strangled him later,” said SSP Vaibhav Krishna.Nitesh’s body was found lying near a drain, nearly one kilometre from his house on the morning of October 28. An FIR was registered against unknown persons under sections 302 ( murder ) and 201 (causing disappearance of evidence) of the IPC in Kavi Nagar police station.The boy’s family had cast suspicion on their former neighbour Kailash for the murder but police had not named him as accused due to lack of evidence.
