Contractor pays premium, but loses money

In June this year, when the policy was about to expire, he got a call from a person who identified himself as one Siddharth Verma , a senior accountant with the company.He told the contractor that the policy was about to end and if he wanted to continue with it, he needed to pay the insurance premium immediately.“The man offered to slash the premium by nearly 15% if I paid the money upfront.

However, for the next few days, whenever I tried his number, it was found to be switched off,” he added.Verma complained to the then SSP Vaibhav Krishna.An FIR was registered on Wednesday after the veracity of his claims were prima facie found to be true.
