Ghaziabad civic body may soon approve maps online

Hence we decided to send our officials to study the Bangalore model which is far more effective,” said Kanchan Verma, vice-chairperson, GDA.The BDA has zero human intervention as far as map approval is concerned.

Hence we decided to send our officials to study the Bangalore model which is far more effective,” said Kanchan Verma, vice-chairperson, GDA.The BDA has zero human intervention as far as map approval is concerned. “I have been apprised by our officials that they use a software which is fed with current building bylaws and a user directly uploads the map for approval in their website,” said Verma. “If the map conforms to building bylaws, it approves it within a matter of hours. The map with anomalies are rejected automatically and the intimation is sent to the user with details of the nature of anomaly,” said Verma.
