GHAZIABAD: The Ghaziabad Development Authority GDA ) may soon adopt the online map approval model of Bangalore Development Authority to curb illegal and unauthorised constructions in the city.A team of GDA officials recently visited Bengaluru to gain a first-hand knowledge of working of the BDA. The map with anomalies are rejected automatically and the intimation is sent to the user with details of the nature of anomaly,” said Verma. “If the map conforms to building bylaws, it approves it within a matter of hours. Hence we decided to send our officials to study the Bangalore model which is far more effective,” said Kanchan Verma, vice-chairperson, GDA.The BDA has zero human intervention as far as map approval is concerned.
