“Since getting vaccinated is proving to be difficult, we have decided to inoculate residents of highrises. For this, we have partnered with Fortis Hospital in Noida,” said Alok Kumar, the founder of the Federation of Apartment Owners’ Association.
Each resident will have to pay Rs 1,050 for the shots. According to Kumar, more than 30 housing societies in the district have expressed willingness to participate in the drive. An estimated 50,000 people could apply for the vaccines, sources said.

“The vaccination drive will start in the first week of June. So far, we have got confirmation from eight societies. We have intimated the Noida CMO regarding this drive and are looking forward for more confirmations from societies,” said a spokesperson for Fortis, Noida.
