Kejriwal's stolen car found in Ghaziabad

GHAZIABAD: Two days after Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal's WagonR car which was allegedly stolen outside Delhi secretariat has been found in Ghaziabad's Mohan Nagar area early on Saturday morning. The car was found abandoned on a service lane near Narender Mohan Hospital by a passerby who informed police following which cops reached the spot and towed the car to Sahibabad police station"We have recovered a blue WagonR car belonging to AAP from a service lane near Narender Mohan hospital in Mohan Nagar area on Saturday morning" said Hari Narayan Singh, SSP Ghaziabad. "While searching we found a sword in the car's dickey after it was confirmed that it was Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's car which was stolen we towed it to police station" added SHO. "After details of the car was shared with Delhi police it turned out to be of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal which was stolen from near Delhi secretariat two days ago" added Singh.Shortly after the recovery Ghaziabad police informed its Delhi counterpart which reached Sahibabd police station along with forensic team and the matter is being investigated. "At around 6.45 am a call was made on police control room by a man who identified himself as Pritam who said that a blue WagonR was lying abandoned on a service lane in Mohan Nagar area following which we rushed to the spot" said SHO Sahibabad police station.
