MARGAO: Tuesday saw waterlogging at various places in South Goa causing severe hardships to citizens.A common sight across villages and towns in South Goa was of choked drains , overflowing waste water, litter on streets from uncleared garbage bins. Another mango tree was uprooted at Colva leading to disruption of traffic. On Wednesday, a tree fell across the road at Aquem, Margao, disrupting traffic before a fire brigade cleared the site.A mango tree that collapsed at Cuncolim also stalled traffic for a short while. Locals demanded that PWD authorities provide a permanent solution to prevent waterlogging of the subway. No casualties were reported.At Comba, the railway subway was inundated making the road unusable for traffic.
