The proposed ring road was to be completed in three phases. The missing link comprises the stretch between Cine Lata and the Comba area. Phase one from old market to Comba and phase three commencing from Apollo Victor Hospital to Rawanfond are already complete. MARGAO: Nearly six years after it had issued an award for land acquisition to complete the missing link of the proposed ring road, the South Goa district administration on Tuesday demolished 12 houses in Comba Margao , to facilitate taking possession of the land for completion of the project.Deputy collector and Salcete sub-divisional magistrate Uday Prabhu Dessai said all the affected households have been provided rehabilitation at the apartments of the Goa Housing Board, following directives of the high court.Sources said a few more houses would be demolished.
