Fight against those who sell drugs and invest in education. Give strength and courage to the youth to resist the wrongs of the world,” he told reporters.“Education is a wonderful garment that will give future to the young,” Artime said, while speaking about the need to eradicate poverty through education.“This is a way to bring peace into the world. There are power hungry people who bring violence into the world. It needs to be resolved by dialogue. What we sow today will be reaped in 15 years’ time,” he said, adding that terrorism will end when there is dialogue.Artime arrived in the state on March 29 as part of his mission to visit all the Salesian provinces of the world. The rector major inaugurated a new formation house for the Salesians at Loutolim. He prayed at the Salesian Cemetery at Fatorda and addressed more than 1,000 youth at Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda. Together with the Archbishop of Goa and Daman Filipe Neri Ferrao and Bishop of Sindhudurg Alwyn Barreto, he concelebrated mass at the shrine of Our Lady of Fatima, Don Bosco, here.“We are working with Hindus, Christians and Muslims in India. 70% of our work is for the people of other religions. The greatness of a nation is to live together in diversity. But now some different traditions are arising that are creating differences,” he said.
