Panaji: The regional transport office (RTO) at Vasco will soon shift to a new premises in Baina. Vasco RTO will have one soon after we shift to the Baina premises,” he said.The current premises has a tendency to get very crowded thus urging the officials to move to a better space.“The Vasco RTO is congested and crowded at all times. The current RTO is housed at a small premises near the Vasco JMFC.“The premises is complete in all respects; only landline cabling works are pending by Goa Electronics Limited (GEL). The new premises must be spacious and have seating arrangement to relieve us of long queues,” a resident said. Once the works are complete, we will shift there,” a transport official told TOI.“Part of the office will be retained in Vasco, while most sections will move into the new premises,” he added.Following the move, a citizen service centre (CSC) will also be started in the premises.
