GURUGRAM: A 21-year-old man died after he was shot during celebratory firing at a function in Bas Lambi village in Bilaspur area on Friday morning.According to police, Gowardhan, who made a living by doing odd jobs and driving vehicles, was rushed to the hospital and succumbed to his injuries there. His father, Jagparvesh, said Gowardhan was attending a Kuan Pujan function in the house of Anil, who was celebrating the birth of his child. Anil and his brother, Sunil, were firing from illegal guns when one stray bullet hit Gowardhan’s chest.In his complaint to the cops, Jagparvesh named Anil and Sunil as those responsible for his son’s death. An FIR was registered at Bilaspur police station under sections 302 (murder), 34 (common intent) of IPC and 25, 54 and 59 of the Arms Act.Cops said the brothers had been taken into custody and were being questioned to find out who was firing at the time and where the gun came from. No arrests have been made yet.
