Owners of the remaining 14 structures in Kherki Daula are yet to get the alternative plots. However, NHAI couldn’t begin construction as they were obstructing the alignment. As per records, a total of 238 structures were coming in the 27.6km-long stretch of the expressway. “In fact, the oustees have been given possession letters also in the day, thus clearing the way for Huda to take over the land for the e-way project,” said Bharat Bhushan Gogia, estate officer, Huda.Sources said these 11 structures were falling in the 90-metre-long stretch that had already been handed over to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). GURUGRAM: Huda appears poised to launch the final round of demolition drivse, starting with the razing of two structures on Friday, to remove the remaining hurdles before the Dwarka Expressway Huda officials claimed while two structures located in New Palam Vihar would be razed on Friday itself, nine others, including one more in New Palam Vihar and eight in Tekchand Ki Dhani, would be demolished within the next seven days. The decision in this regard was taken after allotting alternative plots to the 11 remaining oustees on Thursday. All these oustees had been given alternative plots in the past but they could not take possession owing to various issues like high-tension power cables passing through the allotted plots, dimensions of the allotted plots were not in accordance with the original plots, and, in some cases, the allotted plots were private land or not acquired by Huda.During the re-allotment, the oustees have been given plots in sectors 37C and 110A.
