Gurgaon: Residents of Sector 37 are aggrieved as sewer water from the streets is entering into the houses.They alleged that the issue started around six months back with the construction of the underpass near Hero Honda Chowk. According residents, since then the underground pipe has snapped which leads sewer water to backflow causing inundation of the streets in the sector.Residents said that the problem has been augmented by the monsoon rains. “Form last several months parts of Sector 37 have been in a poor condition as the streets are flooded with sewer water. It is becoming a huge problem for us,” said Ashwini Sharma, a resident.“There is a park in front of plot no 572 near Pace City-2 in Sector 37. The condition of the park is unbearable. You can’t even look at it. There is sewer water everywhere. We have already apprised junior engineer of MCG but no actions have been taken.”Residents said that Sector 37 houses some key industrial estates and the water and mud slush on the streets was making it difficult for workers to commute.When TOI contacted the MCG officials, they said they will, “fix the matter.”
