Curb cyber threats: Naidu to new CRPF officers

GURUGRAM: Human rights are for humans, not for those who work against humanity, said vice-president Venkaiah Naidu at the 50th passing-out parade of CRPF in Gurugram on Sunday. Besides this, 18 serving officers received medals for their work. He was taking a dig at people and organisations criticising the Army for violation of human rights in conflict zones.Naidu also urged CRPF to buckle up to deal with cyber-security threats, which had implications for the internal security of the nation. He added that the government would encourage the modernisation of CRPF for the same.At the event attended by chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar, PWD minister Rao Narbir Singh and Gurugram MLA Umesh Agarwal, Naidu said that people, organisations and ideologies that support terrorists were working against humanity and the Constitution and would not be accepted.A total of 48 officers, including four women, concluded their 52-week-long training with the parade.
