AMBALA: Haryana cabinet minister Anil Vij on Tuesday claimed that no party can compete with the BJP and his party would definitely win the Jind bypoll “The opposition parties are divided and they are struggling with their own differences. It's only the BJP which is united and the strongest party to win the Jind bye-election.”Commenting on the Congress, Vij said, “Rahul Gandhi is playing in the hands of some enemy country and they are trying to deface Prime Minister Narendra Modi on various issues. About Jind bypoll, different groups within the Congress party have trapped Randeep Singh Surjewala. Surjewala was flying high, and to bring him to the ground, the Congress fielded him from Jind seat and he would definitely come down to the ground.”On being questioned about AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal, Vij said, “Kejriwal has ruined Delhi. You cannot roam freely in the Capital due to the high pollution levels. He is a failed politician who is not able to solve the problems of Delhi and now he wants to run away and try his hand in Haryana politics. The people of Haryana are well aware of his character. When he went to Punjab, he said the water of Satluj-Yamuna Link (SYL) Canal should not be released to Haryana and only the people of Punjab have the right on the waters of Satluj. He is an anti-Haryana character. He is also trying to play politics in the name of the cow, whereas our government has done the actual work after passing a law for the protection of cows and we are actually working towards its welfare through various schemes.”
