By the time I had rushed to save it with my 55-year-old mother, the dog was dead. I identified another boy in the group — Deepak — along with whom, I have seen Tushar kill other dogs in the past. They claimed the dog was rabid and had recently bitten someone, though I knew it to be healthy and non-aggressive,” Joshi told police. He added they also claimed to have informed an NGO, but before it could arrive, had gone ahead and killed it. “When I threatened to complain, the boys gathered a group of workers from the neighbourhood, and tried to intimidate us with raised voices and abusive language. The other boys picked up the body and ran away,” reads the complaint. Joshi later approached a NGO and filed his complaint on Tuesday.“Gurgaon has a history of cruelty towards strays.
