The residents alleged that an individual has encroached upon a plot between Sector 39 and 40. “The land was acquired in 1998 to develop a sector dividing road. However, since then, the owner built multiple rooms on the plots causing traffic snarls.Singh was in Gurugram to attend an app launch function. The plan was to build a kilometre long road, however, only about 100 metres of it has been developed due to the encroachment,” said CR Bishnoi, a resident. GURUGRAM: Residents of sectors 39 and 40 handed over a memorandum to Union minster Rao Inderjit Singh on the issue of encroachment on a master road.They alleged that around 20 years ago, the high court had ordered a stay on a one-acre plot where encroachments have come up.
