Gurugram: Unidentified body found in sector 5

GURUGRAM: A body of a 35-year-old man was recovered from sector 5 on Thursday morning. The duo might have had a brawl and the other man stoned him in sleep”, said Subhas Bokan, a spokesperson of Gurugram police.The police is reviewing the cctv footage of cameras installed nearby to identify the victim and the accused. With no concrete evidence of enmity, the case is being observed as a drunken brawl.“It appears that there was somebody else here in a drunk state. Meanhwile, the body has been kept in mortuary for identification.The police said an FIR has been registered on the statement of a vendor against the unknown accused under Sections 302 (murder) and 201 (hide evidence) of the Indian Penal Code at Sector 5 police station. The deceased seemed to have been stoned to death and an FIR for murder has been registered.The police is trying to identify the body as the face has been damaged beyond recognition.According to police, around 9 am on Thursday morning the shopkeepers informed the police about the body lying outside a tiles store.

The deceased seemed to have been stoned to death and an FIR for murder has been registered.The police is trying to identify the body as the face has been damaged beyond recognition.According to police, around 9 am on Thursday morning the shopkeepers informed the police about the body lying outside a tiles store. A nearby vendor said the deceased used to sleep at sector 5 chowk every night.The body also bore injury marks in addition to the stoned face and it was covered with a blanket while another blanket was lying next to him.A crime team reached the spot but no identity proof was found. With no concrete evidence of enmity, the case is being observed as a drunken brawl.“It appears that there was somebody else here in a drunk state.
