AMBALA: Police have booked two persons after a man committed suicide in Ambala on February 3.On the complaint of Karan, the brother of the deceased identified as Praveen, the police have registered a case under section 306 (abetment to suicide) of the Indian Penal Code against Tamanna and Rishi.Karan, in his First Information Report (FIR) stated, “On February 3, my brother Praveen ended his life and on February 9, I found my brother’s mobile phone while searching his room. I found a video shot by Praveen in his phone in which he held held Tammana Vij and Rishi Bharadwaj responsible for his decision to commit suicide. Praveen said, ‘Both these persons are responsible for my death and they have forced me to take this step.""I have all the reasons to doubt that my brother has ended his life because of these two persons,” Karan added.“We have registered a case against two identified persons. A video from the complainant is also received in which the deceased Praveen can be seen holding the two persons responsible for his death. Accordingly, after discussing the matter with the senior officials, a case of abetment to suicide has been registered and the matter is being investigated. Praveen committed suicide a week ago,” investigation officer Nafe Singh told TOI.
