SAD-LSP leaders meet to talk alliance in Haryana

KURUKSHETRA: The Loktantra Suraksha Party (LSP) chief and Kurukshetra Member of Parliament (MP) Raj Kumar Saini on Sunday met Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) Delhi MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa along with Derabassi MLA NK Sharma at his residence in Kurukshetra to discuss the possible alliance between the SAD and LSP for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.While talking to TOI, MLA Sirsa said, “We are working to discuss the possible alliances with the like-minded ideologies and a meeting was held with MP Raj Kumar Saini Ji at his Kurukshetra residence today We have planned to bring the Sikhs, Punjabis and Sainis in Haryana together and accordingly the meetings are being done with different parties. It would be a plus point for our alliance.”Not confirming the alliance as of now, Sirsa said, “At this moment we are only holding talks with all the parties and it is possible that in the coming time we join hands with some like-minded parties in Haryana.”When questioned about Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Sirsa said, “We are already in alliance with the BJP.”About the Aam Aadmi Party and Jannayak Janata Party, Sirsa said, “Since the options are open, so we would also hold meetings with their leaders to discuss the terms of the possible alliance.”About Congress, Sirsa said, “The Congress party is our arch rival so we cannot form an alliance with it.”TOI tried reaching MP Saini for comments, but he could not be contacted.
