GURUGRAM: A 25-year-old teacher alleged that she was raped multiple times by her boyfriend since 2014, police said on Saturday.In her complaint, the woman said that the man would blackmail her with pictures that he had taken with her. She alleged that he repeatedly raped her and threatened to kill her if she revealed the incident to anyone.Based on the complaint, an FIR was registered on Saturday against the accused under sections 376 ( rape ), 506 (criminal intimidation) of IPC at women’s police station (west).The teacher, who is also a BEd student, said that she got in touch with the man, owner of an optical store, in 2013.“He used to stalk me daily, but we became friends later. He had clicked some photos with me. Soon after this, he started to blackmail me by threating to show the pictures to my family,” she allegedly told police.She said on August 21, 2014, he had called her to a hotel and allegedly raped her of the first time. “After this he would offen commit the crime. On Friday, I narrated the ordeal to my parents who then took me to the police,” the woman said.After a medical examination, the victim was produced in a city court for her statement under section 164 of CrPC.“We are verifying the facts and conducting raids to nab the accused,” said inspector Kailash Yadav , SHO of women’s police station (west).
