KURUKSHETRA: Dabwali MLA Naina Chautala said here on Tuesday that the Jannayak Janhit Party (JJP) would waive the loans of farmers and farm hands, and introduce a 75% job quota in the private sector for Haryana residents, if it was voted to power in the state.Naina’s statement came at a JJP gathering, ‘Hari Chunri Chaupal’, organised at Matour village in Kalayat constituency of Kurukshetra . Addressing women of Matour and nearby villages, Naina promised to waive all farm loans taken from “government banks”. “In private companies to be established in Haryana, 75% jobs will be given to the residents of Haryana only. Farmers would be given free tubewell connections. Providing drinking water in every corner will be our top priority,” she said. “We will implement a better old-age pension scheme and ensure a job in every household to end unemployment in Haryana.”Naina trained her guns at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), saying that women were not safe in the state and it had done nothing to improve education in Haryana. “This is our 23rd chaupal (gathering). The BJP government had come up with a big slogan for the safety and education of women. But, in the last four and a half years, BJP has done nothing to improve education or the safety of women in Haryana. No new schools or colleges have been constructed for girls. If I talk about the security or safety of girls and women in Haryana today, they have never been so unsafe in the state,” she said.Flags shortage of lady docsKaithal: Naina Chautala held a similar meeting at Mataur village in Kalayat town of Kaithal district on Tuesday. In her speech, she highlighted shortage of lady doctors in the state. She said that these issues have been raised during assembly sessions and will continue to raise it. She said that women must be aware about their rights as they have 50 per cent contribution in polling. She said that she herself also came out from house for and changed herself a lot, therefore women must come out from veil and make them strong. However, she refrained from any comment on her estranged brother in law Abhay Singh Chautala saying that no comment now.
