ROHTAK: A 40-year-old jobless man who was unable to repay his debts killed his two minor children and wife and then hanged himself in a Rohtak village According to police, it was the man's brother, Davinder, who found the bodies of Bijender Kumar, his wife Sarita, 35, children Jahnvi, 12 and Deepanshu, 9, at their farm dwelling in Sundana village on Thursday morning.According to the four-page suicide note left by Kumar found at the site, he had taken the extreme step as he was unable to repay his debts, running into lakhs. Kumar was jobless for many years and had taken personal loans from many people. Police said Kumar had hacked his family members to death with a hoe.In his complaint to the police, Davinder said, "I got up in the morning and found my nephew, niece and sister-in-law lying dead on the floor while my brother was hanging from a tree."He claimed that his brother was mentally upset for a long time and had even stopped communicating with his family and friends.After deputy superintendent of police Narayan Chand reached the village with the forensic science laboratory team, the bodies were sent for postmortem examination.
