May launch of Sohna elevated road project

GURUGRAM: Haryana cabinet minister Rao Narbir Singh on Friday announced that Union transport minister Nitin Gadkari will be laying the foundation stone to kick off work on a 22.5km elevated road on the Gurgaon-Alwar highway, connecting Rajiv Chowk with Sohna The project is likely to cost the government around Rs 1,385 crore. The elavated corridor will now start at Rajiv Chowk on NH-8 and help commuters reach Sohna, which is about 23km away, in much lesser time than they do now.
