The Gurugram District Court on Tuesday granted bail to Ashok Kumar, the bus conductor who was initially accused of murdering Ryan International School Class II student Pradyuman Thakur. He will be released from jail after furnishing a bond of Rs 50,000.

The Gurugram District Court on Tuesday granted bail to Ashok Kumar, the bus conductor who was initially accused of murdering Ryan International School Class II student Pradyuman Thakur. He will be released from jail after furnishing a bond of Rs 50,000.  The bail has come after Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) last week revealed the bus conductor Ashok Kumar was not guilty in the Ryan murder case.

Kumar was first arrested for being an accused in the Pradhyumn murder case by Haryana police. Then, in a startling new development, the CBI earlier this month apprehended another student of Ryan International School for the killing.

With the new twist in the case, questions were hurled at Haryana police which had wrongly arrested him and even had tortured him inorder to get his confession.

The incident sparked a public outcry after which Gurugram police arrested Ashok, alleging him of killing the second standard student.
