"We are moving cautiously and waiting to see what information comes our way. We have seen some youths have provided details of their thereabouts and expressed interest in joining the outfit," he added. In keeping with the modus operandi of militant outfits on social media, on Saturday, Ulfa (I) posted a video of a tea garden employee they had abducted from Tinsukia district on June 8 for being a BJP "informer". The man, Gopal Upadhyaya, can be seen saying, "I was promised a bonus over and above my salary if I provided information about the movement of Ulfa and NSCN (K) cadres. I have been doing this to keep my job. They have employed several other such informants. I plead with the MLA to rescue me." ADGP Bhattacharya said, "It seems Gopal was tutored to say this."Another video the outfit has posted show a few armed cadres of the outfit talking among themselves about how they lured police into a trap at Bordumsa in Tinsukia district.
