Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan NYKS Training Inaugurated By Bhabesh Kalita

GUWAHATI: Minister of Irrigation Bhabesh Kalita, blessed the Inauguration ceremony of Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) training held at 1st Battalion NDRF Guwahati Assam on Monday as a chief guest of the event . IPS, Inspector General, Frontier Headquarter BSF Guwahati Piyush Mordia,and State Director NYKS Assam Ansuman Prasad Das graced the occasion. A team of qualified instructors of 1st Battalion National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) will impart six days “Disaster Management” training to 30 persons of NYKS Volunteers of Assam at 1st Battalion NDRF Guwahati Assam. The subjects which will be covered during the training are Medical First Response, collapsed structure search & rescue, rope rescue, water rescue & fire fighting etc, a press release stated. As a part of 100 days agenda of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, NYKS in collaboration with NDRF is going to train a force of youth volunteers associated with youth clubs that can play a pivotal role in immediate response to any disaster.
