All India Sainik School Entrance Examination On January 5 2020

GUWAHATI: The All India Sainik School Entrance Examination for the session 2020-21 will be held on January 5, 2020 (Sunday). Out of 115 number of vacancies 15% of the seats are reserved for SC, 71/2% for ST and 67% for Domicile (Assam). Duration of the examination for Class VI is 150 minutes of total 300 marks. GUWAHATI: The All India Sainik School Entrance Examination for the session 2020-21 will be held on January 5, 2020 (Sunday). Applications are invited for admission in classes VI and IX for boys only. For Class-VI, boys born between April 1, 2008 and March 31, 2010 both are inclusive, stated a release. Out of 115 number of vacancies 15% of the seats are reserved for SC, 71/2% for ST and 67% for Domicile (Assam). Duration of the examination for Class VI is 150 minutes of total 300 marks. Similarly for Class-IX, boys born between April 1, 2005 and March 31, 2007 both are inclusive. Out of 15 vacancies 25% of domicile and other State category are reserved for Defence seats (Serving/Ex Servicemen) and remaining seats are for other States. The examination will be held for 180 minutes with total 400 marks. Interested students can apply online in the website sainikschooladmission.in or www.sainikschoolgoalpara.org and the application fee is Rs. 400.00 for General candidates and Rs. 250.00 for SC/ST candidates. Centres for the examination are Guwahati, Goalpara, Tezpur, Dibrugarh, Shillong and Gangtok. Interested candidates may search old question papers at the school website www.sainikschoolgoalpara.org.
